The first photo was taken years ago when Teddy was first added to the Cat Prtection League (uk) website years ago and the second was taken just now, Teddy was found living on the street day by day living.
But even found and taken in he survived 6 months within the rescue organisation he was rescued by because he was a predominantly black cat and well over a year old ( he was judged to be 3 years old) he was left to remain even though he was full of personality (look at that first photo!) Because he wasn't a kitten
My family and I after losing our cat Oscar to a tragic traffic accident, stated that we will never get another cat ever again due to heart break, but after we found Teddy independent of each other.
My dad and I when looking for another cat in our local area and even my sister, who liveS in Manchester saw him in my area fell in love with this bold and personality filled cat on cat protecton league website for the Northans area,
Mum took some convincing but one evening we set up a meeting with the woman fostering him (she later admitted she would have adopted him when he had reached a year in her care, if we haven't come along)
And met him, Teddy was still full of personality and immediately bonded with mum on first meeting, it was love at first sight.
Its taken us years and tears to convince him that this was his forever home and deal with abandonment issues, but the work and pay off is amazing.
He has completed us in a way that feels all worth it, his love a trust just is the best feeling in the world.
Please people adopt dont shop, give another live another chance! Even if the path is hard even if the road is long the bond you'll make is inseparable and last a life time
So give black cats a chance, give older cats a chance, hell give rescues a chance in general!
