#blaaaaarg

couldn't let it sink into my bones in that old familiar way, the way that pulls and grips with forlorned eyes and dripping fangs.

I guess poetry lost its spire somewhere and couldn't find a place in me to pierce.

But poetry was this birdcage, a gentle nest to lay my heart.

The iron bars crept into bones too rugged and weary to attempt a hapless flight anymore, and maybe she prompted my feathers to grow,

whistled a quiet hum that dusted the dents and weak spots in my calcium starved frame.

It's a far cry, it's always a far cry when you're accustomed to waning rhythms.

But there is sun in the places she takes me and I've begun to notice the freckle on my lip

Guess who fell into the dark realm *AHEM* I mean...into the studyblr part of tumblr?? I DID!!!!! :D //help me... I just wanted to half-apologize for the recent bursts of reblog attacks...

I like the whole thing that’s going on though, from the aesthetic sense to the actual help everyone is giving and sharing.
