When I came out to my parents they were wonderful. They said they were just waiting for me to say something. They were a lot more advanced than I gave them credit for. What’s your secret talent? (x)

On being cast in The Glass Menagerie: For me, that character and this production, and working with those people, was a landmark event in my life. Not just in my career, in my life, as a person. I've never felt the things I felt doing that show, showing up every night and getting to do it. I moved in a different way, I smiled in a different way, I felt very, very alive doing it. It’s a beautiful memory to have.
