BJD table!
So, my dad’s a carpenter. He’s built me a lot of amazing things, from the bed I sleep in, to the desk I sew at, to even smaller things like miniature beds for my tiny BJD’s... BUT this is the newest project from start, to finish. I asked him recently to make me a dining room table for my MSD sized BJD’s that could seat, realistically seven dolls at it on either side. He delivered.
Dad’s work table, with all the pieces he had prepared for the table.
The pieces cut out (we had to find new chair legs)
Close up of the trim when it was first attached.
Table with two of the legs and trim.
PHASE TWO:
ITS A TABLE. Unpolyurathaned but a table!
Pardon her wall eyes, she was being bratty. It’s perfect for an MSD to stand at.
or for a yo-sd to sit at.
FInally...
IT IS A FULLY FUNCTIONING DOLL TABLE. Currently, Dad is still working on the chairs but the table itself is perfect for a feast. And fits all the new food I bought recently.
Noah’s currently sitting on a big skein of thread but it’s almost like a stool. She can sit like an actual human being and rest her hands on the table.
Look at that trim. Look at that shine!
Even Shortstack here likes it!
More pics to come when the chairs are complete and in general. Eeeee! I’m so happy right now, I wanted a table for my dolls for YEARS. Now, I finally have it!
