You know what? Reed's life already was bad before the whole breakdown,
His OCD symptoms may have intensified over the years due to being bullied by Julius. Also, his OCD probably remains undiagnosed because I doubt his father recognized it (neglectful ofc) and it's uncertain if Reed even know something is wrong with him. These two pages might as well be highlighting how untreated his condition is
