Honestly, Elodie wasn’t enjoying Japan very much.

The transfer student narrowed her eyes as she tried to look around from room to room. Sure she had started learning how to speak and read the language before moving, but a second language was still a second language! “Ok.. Ok... Um... I gotta...” was she late? Oh no, she was!

Elodie gulped as she picked up her pace, frantically trying to find her class, slipping back into German. “Come on, come on, come on! Where are- OOF!”

Even for first day jitters, running into someone was pretty bad.

Test: Composure > Fail

Test: Reflexes > Fail

“Owowowowowow!” Elodie muttered out, rubbing her head. She had run headfirst into somebody else, and it hurt! She’d seen it on TV, and wow: that hurt a lot more than she thought it would!

... She had knocked somebody else down though. “O-Oh! I’m so sorry!” she yelled in German, before shaking her head. Right, Japanese...

              ❝ IT’S CERTAINLY ... cute . ❞ the last word is said rather dismissively as she opens portrait of markov up once again , having set the poem down in front of her . she really didn’t understand why monika made her && natsuki exchange poems ; they were such polar opposites . yuri didn’t see the point in wasting time analyzing such childish writing , though she didn’t want to be that rude aloud . she just wanted to keep reading , so her && mc could discuss it !!

Despite being seen as perfect in everyone’s eyes, Monika had a huge weakness --- it was the fact that she only sounded confident because she knew how to sound it. Not because she was. And when it came to situations like this? She was definitely less than confident.

And it seemed that Natsuki was keen on making this difficult. Well, Monika supposed this was her due payback for all the teasing she had done to the shorter girl. Still, she wasn’t giving up on playing the coy angle just yet.
