                             as yuri continued reading in silence, she felt her body relax and her worries dissipate. this was all she needed. yuri was the type of person who found comfort in the silence held in relationships. if she can sit in comfortable silence with someone she cared about, she was content. slowly, she lowered the book, a small sigh leaving through her nose. “ thank you, natsuki. . . for just sitting here with me. ”

                            a few moments pass, but yuri’s cheeks are getting warmer by the second. it was nice to have someone there for moral support. after a moment, she leaned her cheek on natsuki’s head-- her shoulder was just a bit too far down to rest comfortably.

                            “ . . . . . . alright. ” this is nice. this is good. she’s going to read for a minute, but then she’s just going to subtly touch her hand to natsuki’s. 

                             “ i don’t know what you want me to say, natsuki. . . i’m not in much of a talking mood. ” is she ever, though ?

                             “ you wouldn’t understand, natsuki. can’t you realize when someone just wants to be alone ? ”

                             “ yes, i know. but i don’t need you worrying about me, natsuki. i can take care of myself. ”

                             “ no, it’s nothing you should worry about. i’m fine. ”
