Just as annoying as he is now, except he also blushed constantly, he also had no idea how to kiss.

I love this because it so sums up Disney, lets break it down:
Glee: Disney had nothing at all to do with making Glee, Glee was made by FOX. Disney bought 21st Century Fox years after Glee went off the air. And oh yeah Glee has been off the air for 7 years now
Jessica Jones: okay first off Jeri is a pretty minor supporting character who isn't even in most of the episodes. Secondly again Disney didn't make Jessica Jones, Netflix did. Disney got Jessica Jones canceled when it didn't want to share it's toys with Netflix any more. Come! watch a show we got canceled years ago!
Love, Victor: oh man, remember when Disney was like "oh Love, Victor is too mature for D+, a streaming service we never marketed as a kids platform" and then we saw it and it was clear they meant "gay" it was too "gay". Well now that Disney is wrapping up Hulu to put all their streaming in one place Victor gets to come to D+ just in time to be canceled, happy Pride
Better Nate Than Ever: a direct to streaming movie where the main character never gets to say he's gay. Indeed Disney made sure to edit out the overt homophobic bullying thats in the book. They also made sure not to film the scene thats in the book where Nate walks by a gay bar and strongly relates to the young men going in and has his mind blown by seeing two guys kissing.
I don't know anything about the two cartoons so who knows.
but happy Pride Monf from your friends at Disney who support your disgusting life style, come Fags watch shows that have been canceled for years, shows we didn't make, shows we got canceled, shows that were so gay we were too scared to but on anything Disney branded, and movies we made sure to edit most of the gay storyline out of, happy Pride you gross queers!
whats more embarrassing the writer taking two years to write start up the way she did or the cast trying to beg the viewers to ship dodal i honestly cant tellÂ
Yeah, break ups suck; but have you ever been ghosted by your best friend of 17 years?
Hey did you know that Jennifer Hepler is the reason that Anders doesn't talk about his relationship w/ Karl if you play fem!Hawke? Did you know that? The sole reason. She is the sole reason she is who suggested that. She told Gaider that it "didn't seem like something a guy would do". That was her.

Can we talk about this notion that, if you have a condition …
be it with your mental health … or the mobility of your body … or a disability … or a chronic illness …
you have to become an expert in the field
Because I personally IMHO find it extremely disrespectful
(DISCLAIMER: Don‘t get me wrong, if that is something you WANT to do, that is fine, If you WANT to put in the hours, use your money to get papers behind paywalls, buy books, want to use your vacation to go to a workshop …
That is great, all the power to you!
My point is:
It shouldn‘t be NECESSARY. The quality of your treatment or how well your condition is managed shouldn‘t be dependent on your ability to do research … )
Because … I know that will come as a surprise … if you have a chronic condition … you might not be able to function like someone healthy or neurotypical …
I know I was shocked too …
You might suffer from executive disfunction ... or brain fog … or you will in some cases have less spoons … and those spoons are also needed to cover things like … doing your job (maybe doing two jobs because minimum and below wages are a sad reality for a lot of people healthy or not) … doing your chores … looking after your kids/pets/relatives … who ever … plants …
To have the quality of your treatment depending on how many spoons you can do without, or how well your brain works or how cooperative it is at any given moment is just gross
Because, doing research takes time and money and effort … and a brain that cooperates ... and while you are basically doing your doctors job … you not only can‘t do thing you might rather do … you also can‘t do things you really need to do to mange your condition …
Like … maybe you need more sleep … maybe you need more time to just recharge from your sensory overload (and yes I know for some people doing research is recharging and that is great but not for everyone) … maybe you need to exerciser, to stretch your tendons, because otherwise your leg will become even more stiff … maybe you need to cook your meals not just grab a granola bar because otherwise your body will make you pay … or maybe you just can’t do the thing, it happens ...
Those things are not negotiable, and most of those things are vital for you to function … and they cost time and spoons
About a decade ago I was unusually sick (luckily that lasted only for a week) and my body was so weak I would need about twenty minutes to put on my shoes (which is just ridiculous … I have better stuff to do then stare at my shoes XD)
Being sick or being disabled or having a brain that doesn’t work neurotypical doesn‘t just sap your energy and your money, and makes it hard to think ... in a very real sense it also just saps away time … sure theoretically we all get 24 hours … but for some us … those 24 hours are more like 18 hours … or 12 hours … and those 12 hours include, sleeping, working, cooking, cleaning …
And even without that … say you have enough spoons left over, after you do all the things you need to do … and you have enough time …
You shouldn‘t HAVE to invest either of them in to doing something your doctor should do …
Because while you try to understand the finer points of brain chemistry … or anatomy … or weather a new treatment could work or if it‘s just quackery … or try to find the full text of a paper … or just have a stand off with yourselves to close tumblr and start doing what you meant to do wen you sat down ... you can‘t do the following
Call your friends
Take a walk
Play with your dog/kid/robot your building
read a good book that is not related to your condition
bake a cake
make 5 flavors of ice cream
go skinny dipping
Have some quality time with your significant other
Catch a movie
Finish that research on the Franklin Expedition
Finish that WIP
Just enjoy the fact that today is a good day and you can move without pain
…
And that is not even touching on the fact that after you have become an expert you still might have to fight your doctor because they will not take you seriously
Again, I know that currently you usually need to become your own expert, if you want your condition to be managed well
(And I know YOU have an awesome doctor that works hard and takes god care of you … that is great … but a lot of us don’t )
But that is not a good state of things … that is actually a pretty shity state of things
And we as a society should not leave it, as is …
I want to live in a world where the handling of my condition is not dependant on my access to the internet and how many hours of the day I can invest in doing research … or how well my understanding of new concepts is … or how good I am at wrangling my brain in to working ...
I want to live in a world where my doctor will tell me all I need to know to live my healthiest live.
I mean ... if you brake your leg … no one expects you to become and expert in treating broken bones … or to do so with two broken hands ... that would be ridiculous
TL;DR The quality of your treatment or how well your condition is managed shouldn‘t be dependent on your ability to become an expert on the topic
listen, my principal has been giving me shit all year for going paperless. i got an email about this very subject about a week ago because he thinks the kids are not learning, getting distracted, yadda yadda yadda (even tho the kids who are not achieving would probably still not have done shit even without computers every day ijs) and now the district superintendent is sending emails about how if this goes on longer we may be expected to deliver online instructionÂ
which, fuck yes. i’m ready to go. i could be ready to go 5 minutes from now. i have everything i need here at home and i can deliver text-based, video-based, and even live-streamed instruction immediately if they asked me to. my kids don’t have computers though so they’d have to work through that (there’s a plan for that at least)Â
but the bigger part of me right now - and i won’t even pretend that i’m not proud of it - is an absolute smug sense of superiority. what’s that, principal? you dislike computer-based, online-driven delivery of materials and instruction? ???? oh hohohohohohoho who is fucking ready though? is any other teacher in the building going to be ready to just step into the online interface and make it happen? no????????!????? who are you gonna be asking to train people?!???!??? oh, it was me???!??Â
L O L O L O L O L O L O LÂ
sorry, this is peak irony and the timing of that email from my principal coupled by the email from the superintendent was absolutely fucking impeccable. suck it.Â
