I find zero personal interest in the erotic aspects and means of having mpreg, it's probably the grey ace in me speaking, but I understand the appeal for allosexuals. But that's not what I'm focusing on, I'm focusing on just the trait of mpreg in a male character.

It is a subversion of expectations, a message to gender hierarchy, not to degrade men but to make women equal to them, "to feel the painful process", but all in all it's really fucking funny. But it's also beautiful.

I love mpreg, but people online never treat it in this manner. It's either erotic and too caught up in finding 'excuses' on how the male grew the parts for the fetus, or other times it's completely a joke and laughed at and shamed. Me saying I love mpreg would mean I associate with the public perception of this concept, this is the same for me with catboys and maid dresses. Which, I don't, so it's hard to say I like these concepts without people immediately giving you a weird look.
