HE'S 19 NOW.I'LL CRY.
A quick recap
So! Long time since I've written anything on this blog. I can give you a fast update on what's happened over the past 7 days. This is not because my life is so freaking interesting, so everyone has to know how often I go out to drink a really healthy smoothie (never), or how many times I've gotten wasted in one week, you know, 'cause I'm that awesome. No, this is more of a "Hey, stuff has been happening in my life!" kinda post. You see, exactly seven days ago I turned 20! Woho, right? It is actually a big woho in Norway. In this lovely country of mine, we have two age-limits when it comes to drinking alcohol. The first one is 18. After you've turned 18, you're allowed to drink beer, wine and other types of alcohol that isn't over 21 %. The thing is that this means that there are two different types of age-limits at the nightclubs. A few clubs have an age-limit suited for 18, but 99 % of the clubs have the age-limit at 20.
Going out, painting the town red, whilst being between 18 and 20 -- well, it sucks. I mean, it's awesome the three first weeks you turn 18, but then, yeah, not so much. So that is why becoming 20 is a big deal in Norway. So.. Woho me!
Another thing that has been going on this week are the exams. I had my fist exam on Thursday. That is why I am waking up at 2 pm, and eating breakfast at 3 pm. 'Cause I can! At least this weekend.. It's about two weeks till my next final, so I've decided to take "this weekend of". Don't know what I'm going to do, but sleeping in big time and eating breakfast for lunch suits me just fine.. But the fact that it's lunchtime reminds me that I should go out and look for a present for my mom before the stores closes. Yeah, it's her birthday tomorrow... Any gift suggestions? Never mind, I've got it. I think.....
