it pisses me off so much that the news outlets automatically (pun unintended) preyed on the birds of prey and the fantabulous emancipation of one harley quinn movie with labeling it as a ‘flop’. if this same movie was created but with male dc universe characters they wouldn’t have to redo numbers or anything and it would be labeled as a ‘masterpiece’. in this essay i will -

My design for Cass, I wanted to add her little shoulder pointies but then she couldn’t have her cape fall in front of her shoulders, maybe I’ll find a way around that later. I also wanted her straps not tucked into their buckles all the way to look like her fins on her original costume.

This was one of the coolest moments of my life! I met the cast of Gotham!!
This was my second year at Dragon Con and when I heard the cast of Gotham was coming I was so excited. I made it my mission to meet and speak with them about how much I loved the show and tell them I would miss it. The cast were so nice to talk to and loved all my thoughts about there characters. I worked really hard to make sure my Birds Of Prey cosplay was done in time to show them and they absolutely loved it! I got to speak with Robin Lord Taylor many times and he was such a amazing person! I loved his penguin and I still can’t believe I met him! He is one of my idols.
As for the photo op, I actually got to take it twice because one of them was yawning in the first picture. xD So they let me go back and retake it with them. I also went to all the Gotham panels with the cast and it was so much fun! I guess what I’m trying to say is if you ever have chance to meet them and your a fan of the show, do it! You won’t regret it.
Mind over mayhem. Birds Of Prey is in theaters February 7, 2020.
