More very normal sibling dynamics: pissing each other off while waiting for rescue/figuring out an escape plan because you're more worried about the other person than yourself.

"Yeah, well you're literally bleeding on the floor from the BONE sticking out of your leg."

"So? I asked first, asshole."

Still super busy, but I remembered I drew this before  the storm: Someone is in need of help, but no worries, these tiny birds are coming to the rescue!

Name: Klaus

Age: Younger than he looks and a lot younger than he acts.

Species: Common Green Magpie

Height: 5′10″

Weight: 280 lbs.

He works as a freelance repair technician for a living. Yes, that’s his job title. His business cards say “If I can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed.” Klaus has worked on everything from carpentry to electronics to programming to things that he’d be killed for talking about. He’s even been in space on a select few occasions.

During his spare time, he’s usually either tinkering with something or working on a pet project. He’s dabbled in at least a little bit of everything artistic, like pottery, songwriting, and even a touch of animation, but he’s terrible at everything except for drawing and writing.

For the most part, to people he doesn’t know he acts kind of like a jaded, but not cynical owl man. This falls away the moment you pay attention to him. Give him a straight hour of your time and he’ll love you forever. Platonically, at least. He’s very affectionate and social to people he considers friends, and usually has a way to help people out with problems.

He owns a coffee shop. At least, in the sense that the business is in his name. Almost none of the profits actually make it into his hands; He hasn’t been terribly involved with it for years. He mostly keeps it because it means he has a place to hang out in public without feeling socially awkward. I mean, he owns the place, so he has a reason to be there.

The outfit he’s wearing in the ref is as much his work clothing as his casual clothing. He doesn’t sleep in it, but aside from that, it’s a button up shirt and tie all the time.

He’s stronger than he looks, especially in the legs, from toting heavy equipment up and down stairs frequently. One time, he underestimated the distance between where he lives and a nearby job. He decided to walk. Most boring six hours of his life, followed closely by the six hours it took to walk home.

Vehemently optimistic.

Owns an arc welder
