that was me!!! it was very gooey and hopepunk and sweet. i turned it into an original YA novel that i ended up not doing anything with. i'm glad i wrote it bc i know people got lots of enjoyment out of it but i probably wouldn't repost it without a whole heap of editing. i'm stoked you got enjoyment out of it too!!

Hey! Random one but I just wanted to say how much your writing actually materially changed my life and to say thanks! I read baking is punk as fuck yonks ago and that introduced me to the DIY scene (and your amazing playlists!). You inspired me to go to shows and now I'm there pretty consistently and have met so many wonderful people all because of your writing. Just came back from a gig and thought I should go back and leave a comment on the fic. I deleted all my fics a while ago because I was in a really bad place and hated all my writing, basically. I’ve been feeling close to that way lately. But over the years since I wrote BIPAF, I’ve had a few messages from people who have said they got into DIY because of the fic. My feelings about my writing don’t really matter in the face of that. It means so much to me that you found music that you love through that fic and that you’re still going to gigs and enjoying it all.

i downloaded BIPAF directly into ibooks and i have no idea how to share it😭 if you or anybody knows how i'd love to send it to you!
Ok so I definitely don't know how ibooks works lol but! After trying to look it up, it seems like it's probably just an epub format in there? So the question, bc what I'm looking at is for Regular books, but I assume that bc BIPAF is a downloaded fic there's no DRM on it...I think. Bc the first step it says is to remove that. But if we don't need a file converter/DRM remover for that, then I think this says you can just download it to a computer and then after that we can figure out how you can send it to me? I can provide an email address maybe? Idk lol
