Winter was an absolute battle for me. Previously I have been able to continue to eat well and exercise. But his year was different. And it has to do with the environment I put my body in. I currently live in Canberra. An environment that is too cold for my body. After being here for four years I am now starting to feel that this is not the right environment for me. I was born here, and from my teenage years I desperately wanted to move to Sydney but I had no idea why. When I was 25 I met my husband and finally got my wish. Life was content! Since then I’ve lived in Perth and North Carolina. Two amazing places with a climate that very much suited to my genetic biotype. Now I am back in Canberra I understand why I wanted to leave. Don’t get me wrong Canberra is a beautiful city and one I am very blessed to have been able to bring my kids up in. But it’s not the right one for me.
