[ since we’re shitposting here’s texts from last night feat. the disciples and cohen
being a little cladistics freak has permanently, irreversably, fucked my perception of everything that i see. only recommended for those who already lost their sanity
I love Elizabeth as a character but they treated her so??? Badly just for shock effect like.

What is your favorite Bioshock game? I really liked Infinite. :(
Okay Ken, I’ll bite. While I love the original Bioshock, Bioshock 2 owns my ass. Bioshock Infinite stunned me with the graphics. They’re gorgeous. But everything else is….. messy. Plot, character development and in the end your morality doesn’t… Really matter? Which is why I like the first two a lot. Infinite isn’t inherently a bad game, unless you really analyze it like I do with games.
But yeah I love Bioshock 2 a lot. Bc I am big and loud and crusty.
"see? he’s starting to put his story together.” “you’re quite fond of this theory of yours.” “he’s manufacturing new memories from his old ones!” “well, the brain adapts.” “i should know. i lived it.”
WOW, WAY TO GUILT TRIP ROSALIND, ROBERT W OO OW WW THAT SURE SHUT HER UP WOW W WW
#soma spoilers
you know...so far i kinda like the morality system in soma more than bioshock’s (specifically the first one)?? in bioshock the choices are always really black-and-white. there’s literally no moral justification to harvesting and i NEVER felt that the situation was desperate enough to have to do so. it was perfectly possible to get through the game without it. whereas in soma, nothing is black-and-white, neither choice is ever pleasant, and you’re going to end up feeling uncomfortable no matter what you decide to do. it reminds me more of bs2 tbh
