I really appreciate the way this show gives different perspectives about everything. For instance, I think my favorite part of last week's episode overall was the appearance of the bioman as a character.
In the pilot episode he was just a bioman - a scary thing, hard to fight and expendable. Even the Defiance website information describes biomen as "agressive and erratic." But then in this episode he was not only introduced as a character, but we did see different sides of him. He has a name, a boyfriend, a friend, a job, and even though the job he was doing was definitely not good, I personally grew to like him because of how hard he was trying, especially because he's already pushed so far out of society just by being what he is.Â
