I have just finished The Untamed (after 4 days of binge-watching).
...
I seem to have broken my heart again.
Excuse me while I go pick up the pieces. Might be functional again in a few months. Might not get over this one.
I'm totally into K-Dramas at the moment and I am happy Netflix has so much to offer when it comes to Asian dramas. I am really binge-watching them at the moment.
Usually I am not the one who likes over sentimental love stories but k-dramas always have an interesting plot around that romance stuff so that it keeps you watching. I even almost cried and I rarely cry when it comes to books or movies.
The last K-Dramas I watched were "My Holo Love" and "Extraordinary You".
I liked both of them very much.
I can't really decide which one to watch next.... There are way too many 🙈

So why couldn’t my brain fog have cleared BEFORE I subjected myself to another TV show with fantastic characters and writers who lean too hard on tropish relationship schtick? Tired of crappy endings. This feels too much like Chuck.
(in other news, treatment with diflucan seems to be clearing up a lot of brain fog, so that’s... interesting.)
The Mark Sheppard Test
Whenever I'm looking to binge watch a show, I have to consider all the angles. How many seasons are there? How many episodes per season? How long is each episode? Does it present compelling themes? Complex stories? Well-rounded characters? Good humor? Drama, romance, and mischief? These are all important factors in a successful binge-watch.
However, I have discovered a tried-and-true mechanism that is simple and effective in predicting the binge-ability of any show. It has never failed me. I call it The Mark Sheppard Test.
Formally speaking, to pass The Mark Sheppard Test, a TV show must have Mark Sheppard in at least one episode.
Examples: Doctor Who, Firefly, Monk, Supernatural, X-Files, and Warehouse 13
