this interaction makes me giggle every time i think about it
I think the reason why this whole situation hurts, and why it needs to be taken seriously is the fact that it lowkey highlights an issue that imo needs to be addressed in the team, which Mapicc already brought up: Learning to take things seriously.
While I understand they didn’t mean any harm by “pranking” Zam, I can’t wrap my head around why they thought she would find it funny or be okay with it. From the very start, Zam has been pretty open about her trust issues and her fears of being betrayed by teammates due to past experiences (she wasn’t sure about joining the team due to this, and they know it). Choosing her as the target of a prank that involved lying just came across as careless and, honestly, kind of a douche move.
From their perspective, I get how it seemed like a funny prank (which it was). Yungy and Peentar were laughing as they explained how they framed Mapicc. While in taht exact moment Zam was mostly silent, only asking things like “Why even do this to me?” and “What did I do to deserve this?” after they admitted it. Such different moods that clashed in that vc. You can’t play with someone’s team insecurities for the sake of a joke if you want to live up to the “great teammates” standard they’ve set for themselves (and usually meet with no problem).
I don’t think they meant to be mean or cruel. Honestly, if Zam had pulled the same prank on them, they probably would’ve laughed along and not taken it seriously. because they don’t have the same experiences that Zam has, and they don’t approach the server as seriously as she usually does. That’s fine, it’s just a different way of playing. And based on how much they’ve talked about wanting to keep this team with Zam, they know this about her.
To be clear, I don’t think this is a big enough mistake to leave the team. They genuinely care about Zam, and I’m sure they already feel really bad about what happened. I don’t doubt they’ll make up for it. They’re actually some of the best teammates Zam has ever had ( def way better than last season already). They just need to understand that for Zam, being able to trust her teammates is a deal breaker … which is a completely reasonable boundary to set.
ALL THIS TO SAY: I BELIEVE IN TEAM BING!! I think it’s good that they’re already being proactive in their apology to Zam. it’s already showing us that they value her as a teammate and her feeling to take them seriously enough to.. Do something about it! Which I'm happy to see!! sending good vibes going forward and crossing fingers everything works out for them!!
if they can't take the server shenanigans seriously maybe they can learn to take PrinceZam seriosuly.
Yungy said that since Zam wants everyone to be at 10 hearts, he said that as soon as he reaches 20 then he promises to go back to 10. Zam said she's okay with steve duo getting more hearts, yungy said he doesn't want the team to fall apart because of hearts
Zam said she will think about it, Yungy said that they can use the hearts to fight other people but he doesn't wanna do something that goes against the team, Pentar asked to keep them updated on her morals. Zam said she will have to thing about what to do but soujds really happy/surprised that they brought it up
Yungy said tgat every team ends with tragedy but this one won't. He said that other teams just need more comunication
Bing!

As I get more Lifesteal-brained I see what each member's quirks are and just...JumperWho is terrifyingly smart. The schemes, the plans, the way she picks up concepts like speedrunning strats in no time and now she can even teach them a little like she did with Pangi.
Like this kid is a little over half my age, her brain isn't even done cooking yet and I'm pretty sure she's smarter than me
