okay, my underworks binder just came in; here are some pictures and thoughts
Initial notes/disclaimer: I am fairly small chested and skinny, so this may not be an especially helpful review for anyone with a large chest or who is fat.
First impression: Nice material, lightweight mesh on the front and back with an additional panel of soft fabric inside the front panel. Goes on nicely. There's a surprising amount of stretch in the back, and the seams seem solid.
Actually binding: Maybe I have an unrealistic idea of binding, but this does not flatten as well as my iffy GC2B. The front mesh rolls up a bit at the top and bottom, but there is no spillage, which I do really appreciate. The seams are unobtrusive and not especially abrasive so far, and it fits comfortably around my ribs. The back material really is awesome; because it is mesh, it is very nice for me and my sensory issues. The cut of the pieces fits nicely, though the neckline is a bit weird.
above pictures are me, at the angle that makes me look flattest, in the underworks binder, and then in the binder with a shirt
Overall: As someone who has been binding for about a year with a few companies, I will continue to wear this binder, as initial fit often is different than fit after a week or a month, and I think this would be a good binder for warmer months.
