I’m so rusty at it. I used to be pretty fluent, then I left school. I now work in a German bank but everyone speaks English! HA!

Yeah I agree! I used the black wash over Mechrite red on one of my Marines and it totall dulled down the colour. I'll be using Devlan Mud from Wednesday onwards, hopefully it'll look more natural. :D

bikebites answered: I’d keep the Mechrite Red as the base colour and then highlight with Blood Red. Would look ace! The white is a nice touch too, different!

Hi, i couldn't figure out how to reply to replies on the original post, so i'm doing this one to reply to you guys. Firstly, thanks a lot! I didn't expect this much feedback straight away. :)

 @bikebites: Yeah that is what I originally set out to do, you can see a bit of the blood red shading in the top left photo (on his shoulder pad and backpack vent). Thanks, I thought the white might help it not be too boring.
