Big Nines Quilt Finished
We invited one of my husband’s co-workers and his family over for dinner last week and they had 2 daughters - ages 5 and 2. Our girls were in absolute heaven with more girls to play with & my husband asked if I had any tops or quilts we could bless them with.
I don’t know about you, but I tend to finish way more tops than I ever do completed quilts. It’s probably the fact that my sewing time during the week is limited and making progress on tops is way quicker then the actual finishes, so I usually have a pile of tops waiting to be finished.. perfect for when your husband puts in a request ;)
So, I spent the last 2 nights finishing one for each of the little girls and this was the first finish for the 2 year old. The pattern is Big Nines by Crazy Mom Quilts. You can find the free tutorial HERE. The fabric collection is Charleston by Amy Sinibaldi for Art Gallery Fabrics.
My 5 year old volunteered to be my quilt holder for this one and she did awesome for her first time!
