You can use this simple recipe to make your own tasty version of McDonald's famous Big Mac burger. Also, make a tasty Mac Sauce that goes well with the flavors.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 small burger buns. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup finely chopped white onion. 16 slices American cheese. Sesame seeds for bun topping. 2/3 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons French dressing. 4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish. 1 tablespoon finely minced white onion. 1 teaspoon white vinegar. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat. Form the ground beef into 8 thin patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Put the patties on the grill or pan and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Toast the burger buns a little on the grill or in a toaster while the burgers are cooking. Put sweet pickle relish, minced onion, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Mix these ingredients together to make the Mac Sauce. After mixing well, set it aside. Almost done with the burgers Add a slice of American cheese to each one and let it melt. Put a tablespoon of Mac Sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the Big Macs together. Put chopped white onion and shreds of lettuce on top of the sauce. Add a cheesy burger patty on top of the spinach and onions. Put a little more Mac Sauce on top of the patty. To finish, put the top half of the bun on top and lightly press it down to make your Homemade Big Mac. For a more authentic look, you can sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the buns if you want to. Enjoy! Pair your Homemade Big Macs with your favorite sides.
