The books are:⁣ ⁣ Sleeping Beauties - Stephen and Owen King⁣ The Luminaries- Eleanor Catton⁣ The Mirror And The Light - Hilary Mantel⁣ The Kingdom - Jo Nesbo ⁣ Hame - Annalena McAfee⁣ The Sport Of Kings - C.E. Morgan ⁣ The Starless Sea - Erin Morgenstern⁣ The Devil And The Dark Water - Stuart Turton⁣ ⁣ I’m reading The Devil And The Dark Water right now and absolutely loving it and I’m hoping to read Sleeping Beauties and The Mirror And The Light soon. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve got a few large paperbacks on my shelves too but I thought I’d show my hardbacks first as they look so gorgeous. The Luminaries in particular has been on my shelves for a LONG time and I don’t know why, but I’m so intimidated by it! Can anyone reassure me of how wonderful it is and persuade me to read it? 😂⁣ ⁣ It would be great to know your thoughts about big books. Love them or loathe them? Do you like Big Books? Here’s a #bigbookstack I realized that Wanderers was the first 800 pager I had read in a while. But some of my favorites are lonngg books. The Stand has 1200 pages. REAMDE has 1100. And Clancy never met a word he didn’t like. 🤦🏼‍♂️ With so many good books to read, it’s hard to commit to 700-1000 pages.
