Tzekel-kan gave the acolyte a light nudge on the shoulder, dismissing him. Once the other departed well towards the adjacent corner of the plaza, Tzekel-kan turned and made his respective venture to the principal temple. As he walked, he made little adjustments of his jewelry and clothing, pausing mid-motion at the sound of a gust. No, less of a gust, more of a breath, with a subtle, vocal note.

He stopped and stood at the junction of building complexes before calling out--

      34. How do they understand the world–what kind of worldview and thought processes do they have? Why?

He understands the world to be cruel and unfair by its very logic - it was founded on this basis and its a world view he can’t deny. The universe doesn’t care about individuals, no matter how truly important they are to its very existence. He has no safeguards against death aside from individual fears from others who hold the power to kill him; yet even then it’s not perfect. He could be safe from dying, but there are worse things than death that easily threaten him.

Because of this, he’s grown to lack any visible sense of personality. He mirrors what he’s around, does whatever he wants, and never shows any degree of truth in his words or actions. To him, showing who he really is will only open him up to be read, which will in turn lead to future weaknesses being exploited. He would rather not give anyone the chance, so he puts on his volatile and constantly fluctuating persona instead.

There’s no hard and fast answer to this since it changes by the minute.

      40. What do they wonder about? What sparks their curiosity and imagination, and why? How is this expressed, if it is?

All sorts of things will grab his attention and imagination - though again, it really is all just a façade. He knows literally everything if he chose to, yet he only relies on it when he needs to. You live long enough to see everything play out the same over and over again, you tend to want to change things up just to make things feel even the slightest bit fresh.

This has no set way of expression - sometimes he’ll be nice and sweet to people - other times he’s mute and mindlessly killing. Don’t take it personally if he decides to turn your eyes into fingers; he’s turned them into soup before and he just wanted to do something new this time!
