It wasn’t fair! He just wanted to feel something, the brothers promised! And now where was he? On his own again!
Flowey burrowed through the dirt towards the edge of Waterfall. It was getting hot. After crossing the little bridge, the flower dug underground, not wanting to deal with the almost unbearable heat.
He stayed under the heated soil following pipes and elevator shafts. It was still awful, and the dirt was dry, but it was better than slowly scuttling above ground.
Finally the excessive heat seemed to die down, if only just a little. He must be nearing the end of Hotland.
Popping up above ground, the sentient plant looked around. The walls were purple here. Flowey thought the only place in the entire underground to have purple walls was the ruins. Was this a part of the underground he hadn’t been in yet? Something new? Had he finally found something he didn’t already know all about through endless resets?
As fast as his little roots could move him the small flower hurried forward leaving a trail of upturned ground behind him.
Digging forward, Flowey looked up and around. Wow, there sure were a lot of spider webs here. Because Flowey’s attention was fully upwards, he didn’t notice the spider webbing covering the ground until he stopped being able to keep moving.
“What the heck?”
Flowey tried ducking underground. Nope. He tried uprooting himself. Nope, that only further entangled his thin roots. The more the blossom struggled the more trapped he became. It wasn’t long before the webbing went up to his lower petals.
The small flower hated calling out, there was the risk of nobody coming again. But the plant didn’t have a choice. He was stuck.
“H-hey, is someone there? Please help!”
