I was at a craft vendor fair yesterday and there were a few lgbtq booths selling queer stickers, or shirts, or plushies, or whatnot. I bought an adorable crocheted frog from one of the queer booths; with the purchase I got two free stickers (!!) and there were so many stickers of lgbtq frogs or just plain green frogs, and magic potions. So I asked the person running the booth if they could select for me “one bisexual sticker, and one just really pink sticker; perfect bi femme vibes right there!” and you know what the person running the queer craft booth did? Did they glare daggers at me and tell me that I’m a bihet not queer enough and can’t say femme? No. They just handed me my stickers, smiled, handed me my receipt, and told me to have a nice day. Like a logical person. So many queer ppl I’ve met have not said anything nasty about me being a bi femme. But, there is a very specific group of ppl who say they can’t stand queer ppl using “ughhh so many different words to describe themselves like they’re trying to be different :/” and let me tell you, I do not think you want to be associated with that crowd
here are the stickers btw :))
