Daily Reflection
Nahum 1:7
“The Lord is good, He is a stronghold in the days of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge within him.”
How often do I as a man decide that I do not need to rely on God’s strength in daily life? How often do I fail in times of temptation?
I feel as though these two questions correlate a lot more with each other than I feel comfortable admitting. When I decide my own strength is sufficient is when I fail. God is our fortress, and when we venture outside of the fortress we are our most vulnerable. My goal for 2021 is to build my home in the fortress, and to seek God daily so that he may know me.
