We had a small issue. Nothing huge. Just a trigger i did that i didn't know. I told him "how can you expect me to be honest with you about my thoughts if you can't be with me.." We were silent after that. No laughter. Just silence. After he got out of band and i was out of choir... He came up to me and apologized. It took him a few minutes. But he told me why he didn't like me tickling his knee. And it was because of his dad. And i understood. I apologized. And he was confused. I never want to say/ do anything that Is a trigger to anyone. Especially not ones i care about. And i told him that. And we just sorta sat there for a minute. I kissed his cheek. Told him to not worry. We're both stubborn. And words are hard for us to form All at once. And it usually takes us a day or so before we finally figure out What exactly we want to say. Time is all we need. Time and patience. That's all.
