#bfd 2015

i got there early with my friends so i could see waters and i was NOT disappointed!!!!! i heard their soundchedk from the parking lot and they were on pretty early but they were sooo rad. everyone should listen to waters because they are incredible and really fun! and if you talk to van on twitter he’s nice also see them this fall with misterwives

and after their set i was walking around and i found the singer, van. he is really chill and we took a photo together and said hi to sarah lanegirl bc he and sarah are homies....i tried to convince him to watch twenty one pilots because he doesn’t know anything about them.

then we had to wait for literally like 5 hours in the sun for twenty one pilots and i was dying because there were some Weird acts in between....but i managed to survive and FINALLY 21p was on at like 5 pm

the thing about BFD as a festival is they have a main amphitheater stage and these smaller festival stages and twenty one pilots were LITERALLY too popular to be booked on the festival stage.......like the amount of people i saw walking around in 21p merch and everything even before they went on was incredible. when the people from the radio introduced them they were like “these guys have the number 1 album in the country” and i was like...oh right....what the fuck..... but then i remembered. 21p needs an audience to do their set properly and having a seated amphitheater would be.......wrong.......

i saw twenty one pilots at BFD in 2013 and they played early in the morning on a festival stage and i was like who are these guys in masks? now in 2015 it’s astonishing to me how far they’ve come and i’m sooo glad i got to see this set because i’m pretty sure i won’t be able to see the blurryface tour so i needed to see them do new songs asap as possible. 

the amount of energy and excitement that 21p’s crowd gathered vs. literally every other band on the festival stages was like. 1000% and it was so fcking powerful . goodbye forever

panic! at the disco played the main stage and i have kind of given up on caring about them as a band because....idk there’s no particular reason i just don’t pay attention anymore but as soon as they came out i was UP and me and my friends were jamming so hard and singing to each other and i had sooo much fun. why is panic still so good? no offense

they covered bohemian rhapsody and i’ve never seen them do that because i didn’t go to the gospel tour and it was SO MUCH in a giant amphitheater with everyone singing MAMAAAAA OOOOOOOOO like i had the fuckin time of my life with panic. brendon did a lot of random screaming and a positive hardcore thing and it was wild
