Thanks to the Anons who messaged about Thommy Berggren and Tarkovsky / Bergman! (Could be the same Anon, who knows...)

Why do you hate Max von Sydow
Oh anonâŠ
Something Iâve often read over the years is that Ingmar Bergman watched Creature From the Black Lagoon every year on his birthday. I always felt a bit dubious about this. On one hand it was quite possible because Bergman watched all kinds of films, Creature From the Black Lagoon is a good film, and any of us can fixate on something and make it a tradition, but at the same time I could never find a source for it, no quote from Bergman or someone close to him, just the âfactâ repeated over and over.
Anyway over on the Facebook page of the Ingmar Bergman Foundation theyâve been making daily posts of the films Bergman watched on each day in his private cinema on FĂ„rö from various years based on the records he kept (in his later years Bergman would watch at least one film a day). Iâve been waiting to see what Bergmanâs birthday film would be. Would it be Creature? Well no. Today in 1994 Bergman watched City Lights, and the Ingmar Bergman Foundation say he ââŠcelebrated his birthday with a Chaplin film as alwaysâ. I have to admit part of me is slightly disappointedâŠ
