how was your Easter? I have been in London with my boyfriend and his family… my first Easter without my family! But I’m not here to talk about this today. If you follow me on Instagram you probably  saw already some photos with my new beautiful Jord Watch. I admit that, when they wrote to me about this collaboration, it was the first time that I had heard about this brand and these adorable wood watches and now I’m totally addicted! The one that I chose, and that you can see in the photos, is the Zebrawood and Turquoise by Cora Collection. The singularity of these watches is that the watchstrap is made in wood. Zebrawood is a kind of wood which comes from West Africa, precisely from Congo, and has an amazing texture, very classy and modern at the same time.

The glass is instead  sapphire, know as the best material for transparency and durability, second only to diamond for resistance. My watch has also this fantastic turquoise color on its quadrant: I fell in love with it at first time! (You must know that I’m totally in love with blue, turquoise and all this range of colors). I think it is the perfect match for people, like me, who want to be elegant and modern at same time. And even the packaging is fantastic! A shapely wood box where you can put back your watch when you are not wearing it. Ciao miei carissimi! come avete passato la Pasqua? Io sono stata a Londra con il mio ragazzo e la sua famiglia…la prima Pasqua che passo senza la mia! Ma non sono qui per parlare di questo oggi. Se mi seguite su Instagram avrete probabilmente gia’ visto alcune foto con il mio nuovo bellissimo Jord Watch. Ammetto che, quando mi hanno contattata per questa collaborazione, era la prima volta che sentivo parlare di questo brand e questi orologi, mentre ora ne sono assolutamente affascinata! Quello che ho scelto, e che potete vedere nelle foto, e’ il Zebrawood and Turquoise della Cora Collection. La particolarita’ di questi orologi e’ che il cinturino e’ fatto in legno. Lo Zebrawood ( Zebrano in italiano) e’ un tipo di legno che viene dall’Africa dell’ Ovest, in particolare dal Congo, ed ha una bellissima texture, veramente elegante e moderna allo stesso tempo. Il vetro del quadrante e’ invece fatto in zaffiro, conosciuto come il miglior materiale per trasparenza e durabilita’, secondo solamente al diamente in quanto resistenza. Il mio orologio ha inoltre un fantastico quadrante color turchese: me ne sono innamorata a prima vista! (Dovete sapere che io ho una debolezza per blu, turchese e tutta questa gamma di colori). Credo davvero sia il mix perfetto per chi, come me, vuole essere elegante e ”all’ultima moda” nello stesso tempo.

Ed anche la confezione e’ stupenda! Una bellissima scatola in legno dove potrete riporre il vostro orologio quando non lo state indossando.
