she's going to flip out.

her schedule already jam-packed as it is, the amount of time she has to scrounge through the christmas discounts is already dwindling. during the holidays, sua would make this a sort of sport-- now, she has to shove everything she wants to look at in one day or a matter of hours.

and now? she can't find her wallet.

LIVE PERFORMANCE: 5 pts

tae had always been open to participating in live competition shows and going to auditions. he also would do busking from to time, he’s had some experience in singing live just from wanting to be scouted and noticed. it’s given him some time to be comfortable using his own voice when he’s performing and being stable enough to back it up.

INSTRUMENT: ELECTRIC GUITAR: 10 pts

he had been interested in musical instruments since he was young. and since it was something he father could just send him to class for, it wasn’t a bother for him to learn it. tae first started with base but quickly switched to the electric guitar and has been practicing it since middle school.

INSTRUMENT: DRUMS: 5 pts

he picked up learning the drums around the same time he learned the guitar. there was a period in his final year of high school when he had decreased his focus on the drums in favor of the guitar. since leaving, he still does two practice sessions every other week to keep his skills up.

LANGAGUE KOREAN: 50 pts

he’s been taking lessons before he entered high school and then simply switched studying via school and no extra lessons. he has some basic understanding and understand simple phrases and sayings. his pronunciation though, has been pretty good.

SPECIAL SKILL: B-BOYING: 5 pts

as early as middle school, he started taking dance lessons. he did do some focus in popping and locking but found he leaned more into b-boying and free-style. right now, he’s at a fairly basic level because he hasn’t focused in that skill as much but does know enough to show off a few moves if he was ever on a variety show.

SPECIAL SKILL: BELTING: 10 pts

his vocal lessons started roughly around middle school and it’s one of the things he has put most of his focus on. his voice lessons prior to training were three times a week. he was told he had a lot of power in voice and it comes out clear, piercing. his focus on when working has leaned more power ballads even if that isn’t his favorite genre of music.

SPEICAL SKILL: WHITTLING: 5 pts

since he signed a trainee, he closed his online shop. he ran a small online store for the carvings he made in his free time. it would be something to show off as a skill, even if they showed pictures or they did it in person. he’s been mostly self-taught but often works on them.

even though ria was the kpop obsessed out of her and her sibling, her brother was the one who had debuted and become an idol. ria is still not sure how he did it, she saw him on that survival show and he sucked total ass. but even though ria had far more interest out of the two, it was obvious why he was an idol and she wasn’t. it’d become pretty clear, she did not have the talent so she should just stick to what she was studying now. so when she heard of the talent show it didn’t take much consideration to decide she wouldn’t be joining, she wasn’t looking to embarrass herself in front of a whole crowd.

but she still went to the café the event was held at, more so looking to socialize and especially looking forward to the idol themed pastries they were selling. “do you know which pastry you want?” she asks as she turns around to look at taegeun “kian’s my bias, so i wanted to get his kiwi cake, but i’m allergic to kiwis so that might be a bad idea actually”.

yuji can't help it sometimes. this bout of curiosity and the urge to ask and be nosy that overtakes her. it's not her fault she's the cat that curiousity often takes out-- unable to help herself. but when yuji sees something, and a thought hits & sticks? hook, line, sinker. she's done for.

christmas season is the best time to gather with family, spend time with them and exchange loving embraces or gifts. however, most of her family lives miles away from her. the ones she does recognize in korea, she isn't the closest to. while she misses her parents, she doesn't know whether she'll be able to visit them anytime soon, despite the week off that the companies are granting the trainees. she has plans to catch up on most of her school work during that time, and tickets are expensive. she decides to leave that for another time, she can ask for changmin's opinion later on, see what works for the two of them.

speaking of, she should be getting presents for her brother. not just her blood related brother though, she has every intention to buy gifts for her 'brother-coded' friends ( among her other friends ). it's kind of hard to scope out what @bexktaegeun would've wanted for a present too—so what better way than to ask him to go shopping with her, under the pretense of shopping for gifts for other people?

it's not entirely a lie anyway. it's true that she's shopping for a few others, but she knows somewhat what to get. for taegeun though, it requires a bit more sleuthing.

claudine had gone a little extra when it came to waterbomb. but can she be blamed? it's the perfect time to look good, to actually make something of her time and energy into dressing up perfectly. she's on theme, of course, still wearing a summer event outfit—just that she's cosplaying too. call her a nerd, but it's fun—and a few people who recognized her character asked for pictures too, so she'd call it a success.

she came prepared, wearing a wig grip and waterproof make-up to make sure nothing falls out of place. "this isn't normally the setting for cosplays," she tells @bexktaegeun gently, but with a little hint of pride. "but i personally thing you can cosplay wherever you want, as long as you're prepared and confident enough in yourself!" she smiles.
