Kwon Tae-Geun: Trainee Base Points
tae had always been open to participating in live competition shows and going to auditions. he also would do busking from to time, he’s had some experience in singing live just from wanting to be scouted and noticed. it’s given him some time to be comfortable using his own voice when he’s performing and being stable enough to back it up.
INSTRUMENT: ELECTRIC GUITAR: 10 pts
he had been interested in musical instruments since he was young. and since it was something he father could just send him to class for, it wasn’t a bother for him to learn it. tae first started with base but quickly switched to the electric guitar and has been practicing it since middle school.
he picked up learning the drums around the same time he learned the guitar. there was a period in his final year of high school when he had decreased his focus on the drums in favor of the guitar. since leaving, he still does two practice sessions every other week to keep his skills up.

LANGUAGE: ENGLISH: 10 pts
he’s been taking lessons before he entered high school and then simply switched studying via school and no extra lessons. he has some basic understanding and understand simple phrases and sayings. his pronunciation though, has been pretty good.
SPECIAL SKILL: B-BOYING: 5 pts
as early as middle school, he started taking dance lessons. he did do some focus in popping and locking but found he leaned more into b-boying and free-style. right now, he’s at a fairly basic level because he hasn’t focused in that skill as much but does know enough to show off a few moves if he was ever on a variety show.
SPECIAL SKILL: BELTING: 10 pts
his vocal lessons started roughly around middle school and it’s one of the things he has put most of his focus on. his voice lessons prior to training were three times a week. he was told he had a lot of power in voice and it comes out clear, piercing. his focus on when working has leaned more power ballads even if that isn’t his favorite genre of music.
SPEICAL SKILL: WHITTLING: 5 pts
since he signed a trainee, he closed his online shop. he ran a small online store for the carvings he made in his free time. it would be something to show off as a skill, even if they showed pictures or they did it in person. he’s been mostly self-taught but often works on them.
