to be fair, stevie will blame it on his busy schedule. halloween hasn't been on the center of his mind the beginning of the month, but now as it steadily grows closer and closer to the holiday, stevie starts going oh yeah halloween.

and before he knows it, it's upon him much sooner than he thinks, and he has no clue what to be.

"do you think it's kind of a cop out to wear the same thing as the year before?" stevie asks jae, sifting through costumes at a shop. stevie scratches his head as he pulls out something generic, tilting his head to the side as he considers it. "i want to be lazy, but also want it to be, i dunno. fun? i can't choose."

she’s going to owe jae so much for being her guinea pig– on stream, no less. it’s going to be something new for her, something to spice things up a bit. sua might not be confident it will all turn out okay– but that’s content baby. she’ll try, for jae’s sake– but it’s also a learning experience for her. makeup hasn’t been the hardest thing anymore for her– not with how much help she’s gotten from her friends lately. she can trust herself on doing her own makeup, but this is a new thing to attempt: and it’s live, for everyone’s viewing pleasure. 

“-- and you can totally talk to chat, if you want.” sua says distractedly, going over everything with jae as she sets everything up. she adjusts the monitor screen, chat pulled up off of view of the camera so they can both see it as sua works. “they like the attention. and you can tell them to shut up if they’re being shitty or annoying. my mods should be keeping an eye out for that though.” sua casts a side eye to her chat, already pilling up with things. 

she steps away from the screen, satisfied with how she’s set it up, and moves back over to jae. she unpacks everything she brought, things she looked up herself or asked her friends about what is needed for a full makeover. she’s going to do it blind– and see if she can do it without any assistance.

stevie's got his tongue peeking out the corner of his mouth, eyes narrowed on the screen. his avatar is running around frantically watering his plants, the clock ticking closer and closer to two am in game. he gets just close enough, giving up to make the rush back to bed before the clock turns over.

he doesn't. he makes it through the threshold of the house before he passes out on the floor, the game rolling to the day end screen. stevie lets out a sigh, stretching his arms out as he yawns. "close enough," he tells himself, sniffling as he turns his attention to jae. sitting up a bit, he sets his switch on his knees, raking a hand through his hair. "i barely made any money..." pouting down at his screen, he huffs out a breath, leaning over to peer at what jae's playing.

sua feels good.

it's the weekend which means it's time to let loose a little. no work tomorrow, which means sua's bound for freedom of obligations for the night. as soon as she's off of work, she darts home to clean herself up, pre-gaming along the way with whatever is left in her apartment. so she's feeling much lighter. not as irate by the events of the day and the week now with knowledge she has a break.

sua bites on the end of the straw of her first drink, eyes scanning over the bar top, looking for a familiar face. it doesn't take her too long to locate someone, eyebrows raising in acknowledge. she side steps the patrons of the club in her way, beelining for the form of jae idling by the bar. once she's close enough, she throws one arm around the other's shoulder, a crooked smile on her mouth.

having had to find time for waterbomb had honestly been quite difficult, but noel desperately wanted to go, in the end finding time for it. last year he’d seen people perform on stage, thinking maybe that would be him one day, now he feels one step closer to that dream. it’s not just fun, but noel feels like he’s learning too, watching all these performance he sees how people dance and sing differently.

stevie's a summer baby. he thrives once the weather turns sweltering, wanting to soak up all the sun he can. at least the heat reminds him of home, and stevie's already wishing for a vacation so he can go surf to his heart's content. he won't get one anytime soon, he doesn't think-- but maybe he can convince someone to drive to the beach for a day so he can get his fix in. he makes a mental note to bother jindallae about it later.

stevie's not a star studded vocalist by any means. he's okay! his trainers have decent criticisms, and they give him a little praise for the improvement they do see. stevie is on the rise! sure, he can't belt for crap, but he can hold a tune for a period of time. that's loads better than what he used to be able to do. stevie from two years ago? he'd be shell-shocked!

but there's always room to improve. and maybe he's been spending a little too much time on dance lately, neglecting his other skills. so he spends a little more attention to his vocals, neglecting the rap side of things and focused solely on singing.
