matisse - how do you express your love to family/friends/significant other?

i usually just say it! it’s unusual actually, even in my family i’m the most likely to just flat out say “i love you!” i also like to give things! especially art pieces. if i have made a personal art piece for you it means i really genuinely like you! also just asking if you’ve eaten, making sure you’re feeling okay, offering to grab medicine or snacks…i like to just make sure people are doing okay too and that’s another way to say i love someone.

klee - in a library full of books, which five would you never get sick of reading?

as you may know i have a deep and powerful love for the zamonia series, an eccentric lineup of books detailing the lives of a number of characters across the fictional land of zamonia, written by walter moers. only five of the nine books were translated into english, but those five are probably among my favorite books in the whole world!

if not those, my other five would be good omens by neil gaiman and terry pratchett, the phantom tollbooth by norton juster, a wrinkle in time by madeline l’engle, the silver chair by c.s. lewis, and ray bradbury’s collection of short stories from reader’s digest.

degas - in a garden full of all sorts of flowers, which would you pick?

probably the forget-me-not! i think it’s a lovely little flower and it also has a meaning that is close to my heart as someone who has moved around a lot and doesn’t always feel very important. it’s nice to have a flower that says, in essence, that it matters! don’t forget!
