: __OPENS_TODAY _PROJECT_SOULIISOUL / We work in an industry whereby everything has to be justified by numbers, figures and returns on investments. The idea of 'Project Soul II Soul' sprung from the notion of removing these barriers and empowering the creatives we respect to produce a series of works with no commercial value attached to them. / For the first project, we collaborate with fashion photographer #VPYP and Johor Bahru based fashion label Bev C to capture a series of photos featuring the local residents of JB (Johor Bahru). For those that haven’t been to this border city that links Malaysia to Singapore, it’s one of the most colourful places in the region in terms of creativity, and it’s truly the people that make it so. / Each portrait has been made into a postcard and letter so one could mail it out.
