What's not to like! Live music. Fabulous weather. And some great sightseeing. If there's one street that you need to be on when you visit Vilnius, it has to be Pilies Street. A short street that runs between Cathedral Square and the Town Hall Square in Old Town, it's the most popular. And not because it's a short run. Or that you're in a UNESCO World Heritage site. From the cobblestone street and views of Gediminas Castle or whatever remains of it, to street entertainment and bargain hunts at the many souvenir shops, there's something to keep you occupied all the time. Looking to take something back home for family and friends? How about amber jewellery or linen. However, if like me, you'd rather take it easy, then why not opt to sit at one of the many watering holes, preferably outdoors, order your favourite thirst quencher(s), and take all the time you want to appreciate the sights and sounds around you. Seriously, there's nothing more satisfying, or beautiful, than doing that. _________________________________________ Real is beautiful 🇱🇹 #realisbeautiful @lithuania_real_is_beautiful _________________________________________ @nofixedaddrs #nofixedaddrs _________________________________________ ………. ……... …….. ……. …… ….. …. … .. . #beutifullithuania #welcometolithuania #vilnius #cobbles #piliesstreet #vilniusoldtown #lithuania #lietuva #vilniuscity #oldtown #cathedralsquare #townhallsquare #amber #linen #streetperformer #streetartist #busking #streetperformance #artist #musician #streetmusic #elegance #entertainment #streetshow #worldheritage #unesco #worldheritagesites (at Vilnius Old Town) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1kt0sLgF1Q/?igshid=qi6p3vol3v0a
