A Sovereign's Respite || @between-the-realms ||
Time was a concept Kiera hasn't fully understood and probably never will. The realm of the Fae doesn't hold to those laws due to not having a starscape like the earth of mortals. Against the council's judgement, the archfae gave them a wink before stepping through the stone circle to vanish for an unknown amount of time. No doubt the Unseelie further despise the other world further… and the ruler as well.
Why were they heading towards earth? Simple. She lived there after her banishment and grew an attachment (among many). Humanity just fascinated her so much, it was her hyperfixation. She lived multiple lives and witness the change of men but just a fraction of history. Humans have always fascinated her even before her ascension on the throne as sovereign. Good and evil wasn't something she sees - she's done both terrible and amazing things.
She was now standing in the middle of her loft with her standing mirror behind her. She can feel the air of the AC on her skin which made her sigh softly. She loved it cold.. After all, she's unseelie. She discarded her royal garb and tossed it carelessly to the floor - making Cassandra's cleaning effort nonexistent. She walked to her wardrobe and got dressed in a simple somewhat revealing top with shorts.
Kiera walked towards the door and opened it, making a glamour shimmer faintly as she stepped out and closed the door behind her. Her steps can be heard faintly as she descends the stairs and into the business establishment of her strip club. She can hear the sound of people - a thing that she loved. It meant stories, it meant people from all sorts of walk of life, human or not.
She stepped into the service hall and approached the door to open to the business part of the building. There's someone attending the bar, serving drinks. An olive skinned human-like man looked behind him and his expression changed when seeing his boss' returned. "Kiera, welcome home."
The fae simply smiled, a warmth spread on her face from the greeting. Happiness. "Thank you, Damon." She walked around the bar to sit down. "Scotch, please." The Lampad knew their order and like clockwork would prepare the beverage with a knowing look.
