I’ve had to slowly replace all footwear since my foot grew a half inch over the past couple years. These Danner Mountain Pass were my pick of summer working boot- something I can ride in, hike in and work in that is waterproof but can be cleaned off for a trip to the bar or a meeting. That’s a tall order but they work perfectly for all these tasks and are American made in Portland. The last on the Mountain Pass is wider than the original Danner Mountain Light and obviously it weighs less as well. You can also see how I shrink wrap the laces so the shifter doesn’t wear them.
