With this article the author is using facts rather than opinions to make a decision. He brings add-ons into the picture for a split second, giving Firefox the spotlight, yet I feel that the author is slightly biased towards speed over anything else. Internet explorer is a clear favorite of his though I feel the author should have included other variables into the decision to help make a more well-rounded opinion. Some browsers may lack speed but make up for it in sheer power. This is where Internet explorer fails and I believe he is choosing to be fairly blind in his decision.

This is a great approach as it makes the article feel more tailored to the people rather than a certain crowd. In the end he remarks that both browsers are not Internet Explorer. This is quite comical seeing as the last article I read made the same comment. These authors are beginning to fall into a pattern. They will provide evidence for the top browsers but near the end come to the conclusion that it’s easier to pick the worst browser rather than the best browser. I feel this is a better approach leading the people to pick their browser instead of following others.

The adaptation of more advanced technologies were adapted due to Chromes entrance into the game of browsers and I feel the author captured that well. For a while Internet Explorer was considered useless and was no longer a default program on windows operating systems. As of today, Firefox surpassed Chromes abilities and Internet explorer has re-entered the playing field to make its mark once again. Putting Firefox as the authors favorite browser I expected a biased opinion but the author managed to stay on track.
