You are the temple of the living God. And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16 NKJV All the might, power and majesty be to the God Almighty for ever and ever. The subject verse from the Paul's second epistle to the people of Corinth brings before us the truth and promise of God. Yes, the truth is that we are the temple of the Living God and the promise was given to us from the following verse from the book of Ezekiel. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Ezekiel 37:27 NIV As the temples of the Living God, we are dedicated to His service. We have a special relationship which is above all the relationships that we have. No relationship is greater than what we have with the Loving God. As He is the Most High God, even our relationship with Him shall be the most high. As promised, God's presence is in us who have opened our hearts for Him. Those who are yet to receive the Lord, are to understand the fact that He is at the doors of your heart. Waiting for you to open the doors of your heart and let Him in. God alone in our hearts When the God reigns in our heart, we shall walk in His righteousness and holiness.
