So, random sex adjacent rant. 

For two years I have lived with my current roommate. We each have our own room but we both value privacy very heavily. For this reason, we have to schedule our respective “sexy time partners” in advance. So as to avoid the awkward next morning kind of deal or to preserve the sanctity of sleep. 

I enjoy going out. I do it quite often, while my roommate does not. Not to mention we live within walking distance to the bars in our area and because of this, I’ve had to say no to many a young man who has wanted to come home with me, no matter how desperately I wanted to say yes.

However, as I wouldn’t want it done to me, I don’t bring guys to the apartment without notice (even when I have been in a long term relationship might I add.) 

So, my roommate goes out last night for the first time in months and months. And I wake up this morning and go out in the kitchen in my sports bra and underwear and am making breakfast. Only to be greeted by my roommate and a random man. 

I see how it is, I abide by these rules for two years. Pass up hot sex partners, god knows how many times, and all of a sudden poof. 

Her text to me: “Sorry. I was lonely and didn’t have time to text you.”
