why is your blog literally all social justice?

TRANSLATION: why are you blogging about issues that you are faced with constantly???

why are you blogging about oppressive hierarchies and constantly trying to evaluate and critique your idols in a healthy and constructive manner, which allows for discussion and the careful development of your political ideals within a community of people whom you trust and respect?

why aren’t you blogging about what I want you to blog about?????????? 

by the way, i’ve posted FOUR politically driven posts today. FOUR. 

I realize and understand that people like you are fighting for a good cause but I think tumblr takes it much too seriously and blows it out of proportion

\TRANSLATION: I have never lived a life as an intersectional nonbinary person, who is a biological female of color, a muslim, born in america, who feels as if he has been transplanted from one culture and society into another. 

i have never faced discrimination for the color of my skin, or the religion that i was born into, or the stigma that comes with being a queer person, let alone a person of color.

i also do not have any FUCKING idea about anyone else’s life except my own, and i do not wish to expand my views whatsoever. i will instead chose to send this individual a worthless anonymous message in order to tell them i think that they’re running their blog incorrectly.

furthermore, my usage of the phrase “people like you” clearly serves to otherize me and isolate “people like me” from discussions concerning ourselves.

of course it’s not blown out of proportion when people are dying

TRANSLATION: i am grossly underestimating the impact of the oppressive societal systems which i benefit from, and refuse to acknowledge the privilege that i hold.

but I think people should let Emma Watson do her thing without commentary because it’s pretty self-explanatory

TRANSLATION: i feel as if a cookie cutter, sugar coated polished version of feminism is the ideal. i also believe that no one should ever be criticized for fucking up. i believe that transphobia does not exist, and that WoC, nonbinary individuals, and trans women do not deserve the same rights as a white cishet, therefore i will defend emma watson’s cum stained white cracker honky ass to the death, because i’m already spoken for, and accounted for.
