I’ve been watching a discovery of witches and the house in that is magic and I can’t stop thinking about the Burrow acting similarly.
It can lock people out when it doesn’t like them and all I can picture is Scrimoger arguing with a door while Percy stands awkwardly by. No need to ask the persons questions like Arthur and Molly do in HBP and Harry hears Mollywobels, the house can do it for you. Fred and George being able to blame the noises from the house for the things they are creating. The house waking Molly up to alert her that Ron and the twins have gone and taken the car. The house locking Ginny’s door when she and Harry share a kiss in DH to keep Ron out. The Burrow working against Molly while she tries to keep the trio separate in DH, they keep accidentally ending up together. Making extra noises to alert Bill when he has a girl in his room and his parents are on the way up the stairs. Soundproofing Percy’s room when he’s trying to get work done. Trying to lock Charlie in the Burrow so he can’t leave them again. The Burrow tournmenting Scabers whenever it gets a chance. It happening to cover up noises of Ron and Hermione sneaking to one another’s rooms.
I’ve just got a lot of feelings about this.
