I have been victimised, I was in a fight that was not a fair fight, I didn’t ask for the fight, and I lost. There is no shame in losing such fights. I reached the stage of survivor and I was no longer a slave of victim status. I look back with sadness and hate. But I look forward with hope. I won’t ever forget, but I’ll always remember, I WAS a victim, I AM a survivor. He stripped away my self worth, layer by layer until there was nothing left of my personality.
