Clint has a lot of doubts in himself and his ability. Of course he hates that he does. Everyone on his team is amazing and exceptional and he simply sees himself as the guy that shoots arrows. This has become the reason he doesn't miss any of his targets, because he can't with a team of superheros his counting on him to do his job. The self doubt is covered up in a lot of gloating and cocking comments.
☠ : Are there any recent/daily thoughts they have about death or dying?
Recently...(but within the comic and not here in citta) a hit-man was hired to kill Clint. Now he doesn't want to die, he's never thought about suicide... but he is very self sacrificing and doesn't believe his life amounts to much beyond what he can do. Upon realizing he was the target of this hit-man, Clint seemed to think that if he died, his death wouldn't hinder anyone else's life. The Avengers would go on just fine without him, the people in his building, his neighbors, would live on just fine without him, he doesn't think he would be missed- not really.

Julian was glued to the window immediately. “Wh- What is this?” He was nearing frantic, both curiousity and panic mixing into a rather uncomfortable feeling. Door handles were pulled with haste, the Cathy trailing in with ears alert and tail waving. There were only a few workers in sight.
“Excuse me... -- Ah!” The one nearest him was none other than Connor, a familiar, if only barely, friend. “Connor! Are those cats doing alright? Why are they here?” His speech was rather fast and the slightest bit shaky. Those were distant family members, technically; of course he was concerned.

Question - How often do they feel doubt? What topics are they defensive about?
Willard’s pretty surefire in most things he does because of his naturally cautious and insightful approach towards most situations, but doubt is apart of any detective’s job. There was a lot of doubt while he was with the SSVD, and working as an inquisitor, and while he doesn’t get particularly aggressive about it, he can still be fairly uncomfortable talking about that part of his life that he put behind him.
He mostly gets defensive and hostile whenever someone questions the heart and dehumanizes another person. It goes against his morals, and he just doesn’t tolerate it.
Vice - What bad habits do they have? Is there something they would be ashamed of?
Willard is oftentimes really sarcastic and rude and only means it about sixty percent of the time.
“Shame” isn’t really part of his vocabulary... If there was something he’d hypothetically feel ashamed of, it’d be fingering the run perpetrator on a case. He’s very adamant about protecting the innocent, and it would never sit well with him if he convicted the wrong person.
