“SHit! ‘m Sorry! ” the small blond began to pull away

                        “ wake me up in about three hours okay? ” he’s way too trashed to even think about getting up -- and at his... long-lost friend’s house no doubt. at least that’s where he thinks he is ‘cause he doesn’t remember his covers being this soft or the comforting smell that fills the room. something unidentifiable, but certainly not unwelcome.

Kai tilted his head and stared at Thomas, the warlock that helped him unlock his powers. After he left Alec  in the hands of everyone else, he let the darkness take hold of his soul not wanting to feel anything anymore.  He’s been staying low, killing Circle members as well as regular Shadowhunters and Downworlders that crossed his path and pissed him off. “Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in. You here to appeal to my humanity?” 

“You want me to help Shadowhunters?” Wyatt couldn’t believe  what he was hearing from Thomas. He DIDN’T help shadowhunters without getting paid and it seemed like Thomas was trying to get him to help without getting paid. 

To say the least, Steve wasn’t impressed at all to see his poor kitchen’s current condition. It was such a hard work just to scrub the sink clean and all. He was proud of it, alright. But no, the man had to make a dessert and somehow...just made a mess of it. “Was it really necessary to destroy the entire kitchen just to make it, though? he sighed, clearly exaggerating much with the damage Thomas had done.

"I wouldn't say it's justified." Crossing his arms over his chest, he wasn't even certain what the other was talking about. Ever since he'd met him it was one dramatic thing after another and he was contemplating sending him away. The last thing he needed was someone as dramatic as he was interrupting his work. Not when he was working under a tight deadline. What made all of this worse was the fact that he liked spending time with Thomas. They seemed to have fun when they were together and Steve liked that about him. But this? He couldn't afford for distractions like this and it killed him that he might have to break things off. Unless Thomas changed or at least stopped being so damn dramatic he might not have any other choice. "Also, you aren't always this dramatic."

The hug may have come out of nowhere but it was exactly what he needed. Ever since they'd left New York he'd been trying to deal with the pain that constantly came from his parabatai rune. No one would ever believe that it still existed. After one's parabatai died the rune was supposed to disappear. And yet his was almost as vibrant as it was the day he and James had exchanged them. But Thomas wasn't there to remind him of the past. Even though he did look a lot like James, Steve knew he was doing nothing more than providing him with a place to hide out. "This is a nice surprise," he muttered, pulling the other in close. And it was. He wasn't expecting the other to join him in the kitchen. He needed coffee and he'd shuffled from where he'd been asleep on the couch to the kitchen. "You want some coffee, too?"

“Yes, you can spend the night.”
