My self-gift for completing Inktober this year was this set of custom A6 200 page Tomoe River notebooks by @Flyght_of_Fantasy_Studio. 📚 . Designing these with Valerie was amazing as she provides a great variety of cover materials to pick from. I especially loved the mushrooms 🍄 on this Japanese Indigo colored Lokta paper and the matching golden fabric holding the binding. 💙 . I was also impressed by how quickly she made them and they arrived from Scotland to Paris (despite the waiting list). 🙂 . The cover is hard, but the books lay open and will be great to continue making art in 2020. Initially I was going to wait until January to start, but I think I might start drawing in them earlier than expected.
