F R A M E D Do you buy off the shelf or bespoke frames for artwork? I will always choose bespoke if I can. It’s not always possible, they can be costly but they are worth it! In my opinion framing can make or break a piece of artwork, and I’m a bit of a perfectionist! I am over the moon with the frames on my new work. I have three in this walnut stain. Or as quoted by my framer “Steamed Beech with a English walnut stain finished with a dark jacobean briwax.” Sounds fancy huh? Looks fancy too! The other three, the birch plywood is shown off in all its glory by sitting on top of a light wood frame. I wanted the edges of the ply to be seen.
