A few times over the weekend I've been moaned at for not having a Christmas page on the website. 🎅🎅 There are 2 reasons for this. One is that I've just not had time to make up a selection of items, photograph them, crop them, copy them, resize them and then create a page to add them - these things take a lot longer than you would imagine, and because we don't use a generic templated website, having created our own, the pages/photos take a little longer. The 2nd is because I'm being a bit more cautious this year. We have another review of the Tiers around the 16th and whilst we will be able to continue trading, you just never know what the government is going to come up with next - things which could impact our businesses and suppliers. There is also a lot going on at the ports in preparation for January when we finally complete the Brexit process, and it stands-to-reason that at some point our supply chain could well be affected (although our wholesalers are amazing and have contingency plans in place). As a result of both these issues I don't want to add 20 'set' items to the site just in case I am unable to make an exact copy of any item a customer may wish to order. That doesn't mean we're not doing Christmas (the amount of orders I have already pays testament to that) it just means your order will be more personal this year as we'll be able to have a chat about what you would like, and can come up with an alternative/substitute should the worst happen.
