“Milla~~~~~ My, you’re very tense. Is everything all right?”

Jude had been doing his best to keep up with Milla, as always, and he had hoped that Milla hadn’t noticed his energy flagging a little.  He didn’t want to slow her down, to feel like he would be letting her down.  But when she called him out for clearly being tired, Jude hesitated for a moment before answering.“Just a short break,” Jude conceded, “I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me.  Five minutes, then I’ll be good to go.”
